• Creating a Digital Environment
  • How to build a 3D environment using 3D scanning technology
  • Free CAD models on the internet
  • Measure and build your own environment in Solidworks
  • Transfer into JACK Digital Environment
• Capturing human movement
  • Principles of MOCAP (Motion Capture Analysis)
  • Video observation principles
  • Interviews and system view / task capture proformas
• Digital Human Modelling
  • Preparing the CAD model for a virtual simulation, set object properties
  • Set the centres of rotation for moving parts
  • Identify human system interfaces / workspaces
  • Model up Human System interactions in the digital environment
  • Design shortfall and solutions proforma

By the end of the session, the attendee will know how to create a framework for evaluating the Digital Environment from the perspective of all project stakeholders, when to conduct a virtual validation trial and the information to collect.

Terms and Conditions

A single ticket for each session is £100 plus VAT. The sessions run from 10am until 4pm. Lunch is provided, please let us know about any dietary requirements when booking. Accommodation is not included but we can provide you with a list of places to stay. If you are booked onto a session and unable to attend, please provide us with at least 48hrs warning otherwise you will be charged the full fee for non-attendance.
