Understanding the Brief...
On receipt of a request for support, we will be in contact within 24 hours to discuss the nature of your enquiry, the issues, and potential scope of work required to address them.
Understanding the Workplace...
A site visit is designed to capture the data associated with the workplace issues, whether they are related to mental or physical workload. The information gathering will encompass video observation and interviews initially as a method for capturing complex workplace interactions.
Analysing the Data...
The video footage, interviews and any biometric data collected will be securely stored as per the data protection legislation and cyber essentials policy for canary designs. The analysis of the data will aim to describe the system of work, the dynamics and identify possible routes for addressing the workplace stressors.
Modelling...
At Canary Designs we start by presenting our clients with a model of their current workplace and identify the dynamics of the work system (i.e. what changes from day to day). We will then model up a number of different options for addressing the issues that occur and enable our clients to fully engage with the problem solving process.
The Report...
Following the modelling and optioneering process, the chosen approach and workspace solutions are written up in a report that describes the initial problem with the workspace, the optioneering, and an implementation plan for improving the workspace for all employees.
Implementing it all...
At Canary we like to support our clients from the start right through to the end, we will be happy to discuss with the client the recommendations proposed in the report. And if they wish to go ahead with them, then we will be on hand to help them install and train their employees accordingly to ensure that the equipment is used as effectively as possible to gain all the benefits from the switch. We can even come in and conduct a follow up analysis after everything has been implemented if the client desires.
