Canary designs was contacted by the Airbus Industrial Academy – ME Faculty Learning Development Manager and Airbus UK head of human factors to review an existing Ergonomics and Manufacturing Engineering Course.

Canary Designs was asked by Hebog Environmental to conduct an Ergonomic Assessment of their laboratory and office space. Hebog are an independent marine biology laboratory that specialises in benthic ecology and benthic taxonomy.
Edge Hill university contracted Canary Designs to review a participant’s day to day tasks, as they have been experiencing upper body musculoskeletal discomfort over a period of 12 years.
The case involved working with a client which is in a wheelchair and wishes to use his camera equipment to capture aircraft at air shows and events. They have previously attempted to makeshift with a selfie stick that has been modified, however it was deemed to not be very useable as it did not offer them the versatility which they wanted and was difficult to operate.
Canary Designs partnered up with Nottingham Trent University to undertake an ergonomic assessment of the E-Class MKII exclusively operating on the river Thames in London. This is the busiest lifeboat station in the country, the E-Class MKII helps to save lives day in and day out.
